That's "Wilde" as in
Oscar, the nineteenth-century Irish writer and wit whose spirit rests heavily upon this spacious new wood-paneled watering hole in the heart of downtown Kirkland, which in less than a year has developed a thriving clientele for its upscale pub-style menu, frequent live musical acts, and on Wednesdays, a well-attended pub trivia contest. At $10 a team, it's one of the pricier quiz nights, but the money comes back in the form of nice payoffs for the top three teams of the evening. Questions come in four or five themed round, which usually includes a picture round. We especially like the format of the final round, which includes questions of varying difficulty, with point values to match: declining to answer a question costs you nothing, but answering a question incorrectly
decreases your score by the point value of the question. It's a good way for a team to make up a substantial deficit if the players are willing to take the risk, and keeps the competition exciting right up until the end.
